Synthetic Lawns

Kicking Grass only uses synthetic grass made by Enduroturf, who are one of Australia's largest suppliers of synthetic grass. Every blade is carefully colour matched to ensure it blends in perfectly with our Australian landscape. Some of our products even qualify to carry the prestigious ‘Made in Australia’ logo.

Enduroturf synthetic grass looks right at home just about anywhere:

  • Around Pools
  • Between Pavers
  • Backyards / Frontyards
  • Feature Areas
  • Shaded Areas
  • Courtyards
  • Play Areas
  • Rooftops

Kicking Grass has a large range of synthetic grass that is made to the strictest of guidelines to make sure you have a product that is going to last. Good quality synthetic turf should keep its texture and rich organic colour for years of rain, hail and sunshine. It should be salt and chlorine resistant.

Making sure you choose a company that knows how to install synthetic grass properly is of the utmost importance in extending the life of your investment. Kicking Grass has been installing synthetic lawn for many years and can show you installations that have been in place for several years.

Kicking Grass backs this up by offering long warranties — up to 10 years — and is able to offer you not only the best quality, but also the best synthetic grass prices.

Schools and Playgrounds

Kicking Grass has installed synthetic grass at many schools in the ACT and surrounding regions, including:

  • Black Mountain School
  • Monash Primary
  • Burgmann Anglican School
  • O'Connor Co-operative
  • Rosary Primary, Watson
  • Merici College (multi-surfaced sporting area)

Kicking Grass commenced works late 2011 at Merici College, installing a multi-surfaced sporting area primarily for tennis, netball and basketball. Landscaping with synthetic lawn around school areas creates low maintenance, perfectly manicured surrounds, that are inviting and usable. It is the perfect solution for around play equipment and play areas. The hard wearing surface can withstand high traffic.

Sporting Surfaces

Kicking Grass's supplier Enduroturf and its partners work closely with local, national and international governing bodies, developing and implementing synthetic playing surface solutions for a wide range of sports:

Football (Soccer)

Rubber infill football pitches meet national and international criteria. Enduroturf offers a wide range of extremely high performance and long-lasting products that are safe, low maintenance and offer a remarkable return on investment.

Cricket

Enduroturf has a wide range of all-weather, synthetic cricket pitch options used by schools of all levels. They are long-lasting, safe and very cost effective.

Rugby

Rubber filled, long pile synthetic grass with a rubberised elastic layer underlay provides an all-weather, durable and incredible playing surface. Capable of handling the heaviest of foot drive and durable enough to sustain hours and hours of abuse, the internationally recognised range of Rugby products we offer is second to none.

Golf

Kicking Grass and supplier Enduroturf can provide multiple levels of synthetic golf green and hitting mat solutions. Training facilities, chipping greens, putting greens and synthetic and/or nylon hitting mats are a wonderful option that save time and money. Enduroturf offer natural looking and feeling greens with superior performance.

AFL

Stringent guidelines set down by the AFL for their synthetic surfacing needs have been published and, through the Enduroturf partnership arrangement it has with its global partner, we are able to offer you a licensed AFL solution.

Multi-Sport (Tennis)

Multi-sport surfaces are the most popular synthetic surfacing option chosen by schools due to the limited space availability and, of course, limited funds. Multi-sport surfaces combine multiple sports into one playing field. We typically see a combination of tennis, netball, basketball, handball, mini-tennis, running track fields and hockey in our installations. These types of projects allow schools to utilise their space more effectively on a long-lasting, safe playing surface.

General Landscaping and Installation

Kicking Grass is capable of completing all aspects of landscaping, but mainly landscaping associated with installing synthetic grass. The synthetic grass is laid on a compacted base of crusher dust or on a concrete slab. The grass is then pegged around the perimeter and all joins are pegged and glued. Sand and rubber infill can be used for most types of grass. This keeps the pile upright and helps with drainage.
